Requirements
Auto Update Price does not work with Yagendoo themes.
Enable Extended Classes
Virtuemart Admin -> Configuration -> Security (tab) look for Allow Extended Classes.  Auto Update Price has no configurable options below is configuration option for radio button. Radio selection option for child product Virtuemart Product -> Display Options (tab).
